School Mission: The staff of Curtis fundamental Elementary will partner with students, parents, and the community to create and maintain a quality and safe learning environment enabling each student to succeed.
A fundamental school is a family-oriented school of choice whose structured environment, updated “back-to-basics” approach and joint parent-teacher commitment provide quality education for students. Important features are a strict discipline policy, daily homework, a dress code, and required attendance at conferences and monthly parent meetings.
Academic Achievements; Grade of A+ from the state, Florida School Recognition Program; Mighty Mu, math Mania, Super Scientist and Gifted Math Meet winners; student and teacher work published in Cross Creek Chronicle; students consistently score above district and state averages on State Testing.
